Wayne W. Phillips II

Wayne has been affiliated with the firm as Of Counsel since 1990. He is a graduate of the Ohio Northern University (B.A, 1967) and the Ohio Northern University School of Law (J.D., 1972). He was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1972 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, in the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio; in the state of Indiana; in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana; and in the U.S. Tax Court. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio, and a Personal Financial Specialist. He is a member of the Muskingum County Bar Association (of which he was President in 1998), the Ohio State and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

His major practice areas include Corporate Law, Financial and Estate Planning, Retirement Plans, and Tax Return Preparation. Wayne was born in Norwalk, Ohio, and is married to Linda Phillips. They have four children, Katie, Sara, Julie, and Chris, and seven grandchildren.
