Robert Barga
Though new to the Firm and the Zanesville area, Robert M. Barga has been practicing law across the entire state since 2015. Having spent five years running a successful private practice in the Capital City, and four years as an associate and partner with a firm in Newark, Robert joined the Firm in the fall of 2024. Although a General Practice Attorney, Robert has almost a decade experience in Domestic Relations and Custodial concerns, Business Law, Agricultural Law, and Civil Litigation. Robert enjoys being able to bring arguments from one area of law into another, creating parallels that otherwise wouldn’t be seen.
Robert grew up in Worthington, Ohio, and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. After graduating from OSU, Robert attended Quinnipiac University School of Law, in Connecticut. In 2014, Robert met his now-wife Brittany, and the two moved to the Zanesville area in 2023. Robert and his wife have four young boys, and are proud members of the West Muskingum Family.
Robert is a proud member of the Ohio Bar, a member of the Bar for the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, a member of the Bar for the United States District Court, Northern District, and an Ohio Notary. In addition to his legal practice, Robert served on two school boards, was a Committee Member and speaker with the Licking County Chamber of Commerce Thrive Event, and was a Board Member and the Vice-President of the Reynoldsburg Arts Forum. Robert is an accomplished public speaker who regularly makes “know your rights” presentations. In his free time, Robert coaches youth sports, enjoys reading and gaming, and loves to spend time hiking and enjoying this beautiful world with his family.
