Mark E. Kaido (Retired)

Mark started with the firm in 1991, becoming a partner in 2002. After nearly 35 years of practice, he retired at the end of 2025. His career was marked by a unique approach to a trial practice that focused on Criminal Defense in Muskingum County and throughout Southeastern Ohio. This approach involved a significant network of relationships derived from many years of experience which started with his initial positions with Muskingum County Common Please Court under the supervision of Judges Richard D. Hixson and Ray G. Miller. Mark was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and educated at Maysville Local Schools, Marietta College, and he is a graduate of Miami University's undergraduate program in Political Science and The Capital University Law School. He is married Karla Frye and is the father of two sons, Tyler and Wade, along with six wonderful grandchildren.
