James R. Krischak

Jim has been a partner with the firm since 1988 and retired from the firm in 2024. He attended Oberlin College and is a graduate of The Ohio State University (B.Sc., 1972) and Capital University law school (J.D., 1977). He was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1977 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Muskingum County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Ohio Land Title Association. He is a Title Agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. His major practice areas include Criminal Law, Family Law, and Real Estate Law.

Jim was born in Columbus, Ohio. He is married to Trudy Krischak and has two daughters, Kristin and Katie.
