Aarica Eby

Aarica Eby is proud to be a new addition to our legal team. A graduate of John Glenn High School in 1999, Aarica attended Texas A&M University, Ohio Dominican University, and Zane State College before graduating from what was then called Muskingum College in 2007. She majored in Sociology and minored in German earning entry to the honor associations of both sociology and foreign languages. She is a graduate of Capital University Law School Class of 2021. In law school, she was the treasurer of First-Generation Law Students and the Environmental and Energy Law Society, and a member of the Criminal Law Society, The Capital Equality Alliance, and The Federalist Society.

Aarica grew up in the Cambridge, New Concord, and Zanesville area. Both her maternal and paternal grandparents owned and operated small businesses in Ohio. The Bells owned a semi and car repair shop with a gas station in the Kimbolton area, and the Grays operated a General Store in Birmingham. Her mother and stepfather owned and operated a mobile embroidery business based in Ohio with customers in 36 states. Aarica worked for about a decade in the Oil & Gas industry in Ohio and West Virginia as a landman alongside her mother and sister. This gave her valuable experience in property law as well as consumer relations. She also spent (and currently tries to spend) much of her time being involved in political work. Her background in Oil & Gas as well as politics spurred her desire to know the law. Today, she works in Criminal, Family, and Property Law.

Aarica was heavily involved in the 4-H program growing up in Guernsey County and still continues to be an active 4-H mom in Muskingum County. She currently lives in Zanesville with her husband Steven, their two children Auggie and Yana, and their pets Ziggy (Old English Sheepdog), Pando (Cardigan Welsh Corgi), Bowtie (kitty), Jingle (Leopard Gecko), Toffee (Rabbit), three Goldfish, and a rotating stock of 4-H projects
